Soufflenh. extension approved by CGEIET

The joint application for a four years extension of the Soufflenheim exploration license into the second validity period was submitted by MOORE and Geopetrol in August 2011 as the first validity period would expire on 19 January 2012.

The application process normally takes up to 15 months. The application was approved by CGEIET on 8 October 2012, and therefore has been through all administrative steps prior to the signature by the minister. As indicated by BEPH, in the mean-time MOORE can continue work like drilling, start-up of test production and acquire seismic data. The second validity period will expire on 18 January 2016. The license may be extended for a third validation period of four years thereafter. All fields within the license that are turned into production will be converted into production concessions.
